Voice & Swallowing
Our voice is our principle means of communications with others. For some people it is also crucial to perform their job. Changes in the voice i.e. hoarseness, intermittent or continuous loss of voice, and pain with speaking all require medical evaluation. Our larynx is located behind the Adam’s apple which moves up and down when we swallow. Therefore swallowing and digestive problems are intimately related to our voice See THE LARYNX above.
