Dr. Shilpa Viswanath is a board-certified Sleep Medicine and Internal Medicine physician. She completed her medical training at the University of Illinois. She attended college at the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign, where she obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology, a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish, and a minor in Chemistry. She had the wonderful opportunity to teach in South Korea before she attended medical school in Kansas City. Dr. Viswanath is passionate about sleep hygiene as it relates to behavioral and lifestyle changes to improve sleep health. She conducts office visits in English or Spanish.
