Colleen Burns, DNP is a certified nurse practitioner who focuses on treating ear, nose and throat conditions as well as sleep disorders. She attended Saint Ambrose University where she received her undergraduate degree in nursing. She worked as a registered nurse in a medical intensive care unit caring for patients with complex medical conditions prior to receiving her doctorate in nursing from Rush University in 2016. Colleen worked for Rush University as a nurse practitioner in pulmonary and sleep services for 8 years where she learned the connection between sleep disordered breathing and ear, nose and throat health. She focuses on tailoring individual treatment plans for each patient in order to help them breathe better, hear better and sleep better with life changing results.
