Melissa Vick, PA-C

Melissa Vick, PA-C, is a nationally certified physician assistant specializing in ear, nose, and throat disorders. Melissa has been a practicing physician assistant since 2010. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in Biology with a minor in Chemistry. She attended the US Military's Interservice Physician Assistant Program, receiving a Master's Degree in Physician Assistant Studies.

As a physician assistant, Melissa is able to examine patients, diagnose and treat illnesses, develop treatment plans, and prescribe medications under the supervision of a physician. She works closely with all members of the healthcare team to provide optimal comprehensive healthcare for the patient.

Prior to joining Drs. Girgis and Associates, Melissa was practicing ENT at one of Chicago's busiest Level I Trauma Centers. She is an active member of the Illinois Army National Guard and has been activated to support medical operations during Hurricane Katrina and Operation Iraqi Freedom.
