I became a patient of Dr. Samuel Girgis in the fall of 2017, after seeking care from a different Otolaryngologist/ENT in the Chicagoland area. The care that I received from Dr. Girgis was phenomenal compared to the care that I received from the previous ENT. Dr. Girgis is very knowledgeable, professional, thorough, kind and compassionate. He asks a lot of questions to determine the symptoms being experienced and to get to the bottom of what is causing them. He listened carefully to my responses and gave me ample time to ask my questions as well. As others have stated, he was a little behind schedule, which was not extraordinarily long or unexpected, and apologized for the wait. I told him no apologies were necessary, as it was NOT an exceptionally long wait. in my opinion, I'd rather have a doctor that takes the time needed with me to determine a correct diagnosis and/or the next step(s) needed to be able to get to the root of the problem, I much prefer a doctor that runs a little behind schedule because they give their patients adequate time, rather than doctors that do not allow enough time in order to meet the time limits dictated by the insurance companies and/or the hospitals or health care companies that employ the doctors. I simply cannot say enough good things about Dr. Girgis!! Before I became a patient of Dr. Girgis, I initially sought the care of an Otolaryngologist in the Chicagolalnd area in the spring of 2017. The first doctor was highly recommended by my neurologist, but his care was less than desired. I had two office visits with the first doctor as well as an MRI of my brain and some tests by the doctor's audiologist. Between the tests, MRI and office visits with the first doctor, I probably got a total of 5 minutes face time with the first doctor. He probably spent a minute or two with me on the first visit (which included him introducing himself before turning me over to his audiologist and ordering a CT scan and other tests). The second appointment, he came in and said that I was normal and to seek the care of a neurologist. The second appointment would probably have lasted only a minute or so, if I hadn't told him that it was a neurologist that referred me to him in the first place and asked him to please allow me a couple of minutes to ask a few questions. He was "polite" and sat back down for a minute to answer a couple of questions. However, he was indifferent and certainly not worth the fee that my insurance paid for his services. Thank God one of my friends suggested that I consult with Dr. Girgis, This friend and her family, as well as a few other people that I know are also his patients. I talked to a few of these people, and am glad that I am now under the care of Dr. Girgis. He has gotten to the root of the problem; and although things are not perfect yet, they are headed in the right direction. I've seen significant improvement in my symptoms thanks to his diligence, knowledge and experience.

Dr Bajwa is great, makes you feel comfortable and goes through everything so you know exactly what to expect and answers all questions , just wish there was other locations closer to home but definitely worth the drive for a good Dr

On a few different occasions we were patients of dr. Thomas, dr. Girgis, dr. Roa, and dr. Kraseman. All are great specialists, very knowledgeable, down to earth, and hands-on. Staff is very helpful and nice. The fact that appointments are available within a day or two is extremely important, especially when the patients are your kids. Highly recommend this office, as we've had the best experience there.

Fantastic experience! I called as a new patient to set up my first appointment. The staff was great about verifying my insurance. They called back to let me know they had a cancellation and asked if I wanted the appointment! I saw the doctor within a few days of my initial call. When I got there, the staff was all very friendly and polite. Lisa at the front desk was the lady I had talked to on the phone - so helpful! Susan took me back to the exam room and made me feel comfortable. Dr. Thomas came in within just a few minutes and did my exam. Absolutely fantastic staff and practice. I would highly recommend them.

I went to Dr. Girgis and Associates after having three Rhinoseptyplasty's prior. I had two in 1986 and one in December 2014. I could not breathe properly yet. My breathing effected not only my sleep but my wife as well. upon consulting with Dr. Girgis, he said that he would be able to assist in allowing me to breathe more efficiently then I ever had. I was skeptical, since I have been through this three other times. 6 days after surgery he removed the splints, the packing, and he was correct. I could finally breathe out of each of my nostrils the way God intended for me to. I hope he saw the smile I had on my face when he asked me to breathe through my nose? Dr. Girgis is amazing, I had a septoplasty done by him since I had roughly an 80% blockage in my nose from a deviated septum and inflamed sinuses. The surgery went perfect and he was more than informative of what would happen. I freaked out after my surgery because I thought I was bleeding too much and went to the emergency room at 11:30 at night.....Dr. Girgis came to the emergency room to check up on me that night (mind you this was AFTER doing multiple surgeries since the early AM that very day). Even though I was experiencing normal bleeding and nothing was wrong with me he asked no questions and treated me amazingly, patched me up a bit more and sent me on my way. Imagine working 12+ hours then being called at 11:30PM for one of your patients coming in with a nosebleed and asking no questions about it, 5 star Doctor all the way, I HIGHLY recommend him to anyone searching for a Doctor.All the rest of the staff is equally as amazing, any question I asked whether it be stupid or not, they answered along with a few jokes at my expense, hands down one of the best doctors and staff I have ever been to, they make you feel right at home.

I was worried when I walked in for a 7:30 am appointment and saw 4 people ahead of me. I was very pleased that I saw Dr. Girgis, had a CT scan of my sinuses, met with the audiologist for a hearing exam, and met Dr. Girgis again for the results of my exams and a plan to relieve my symptoms all in an hour and ten minutes! Very impressed on all counts.

This was my second visit and both times everyone was friendly and professional. They knew what they were doing .I wish all offices were like Dr. Girgis.

I went to Dr Girgis because of my frequent headaches and not being able to breathe. I would wake up with panic attacks about every 2-3 hours. My days consisted of me being severely fatigued because I wasn't resting due to breathing issues. Adding to my problems, I would have the headaches and was constantly light-headed which would lead me to having episodes of vertigo. I was put on nasal sprays several times, nothing worked. After receiving CT Scans, I found out about my swollen turbinate's and quickly decided to have surgery. It has been 8 weeks and I feel TERRIFIC!! I haven't had a migraine, light headed feeling and no vertigo. I have vivid dreams. I have been sleeping through the night and I can actually sleep on both sides of my body ( It's been DECADES since I've been able to do this! ) Dr. Girgis has helped change my life.I literally jump out of bed and now getting back into yoga, something I stopped doing because due to balance issues.
